Canvas Legacy now offers professional wedding gown preservation.

This process utilizes modern lab and equipment with a special treatment that prevents yellowing and discoloration. This process has been proven and recognized as the best method in gown preservation by the International Fabricare Institute.

We stand behind this process to such an extend that if you keep your gown stored in a cool dry area (no basement, no attic), and it stains or yellows, we will reprocess your gown for free. If this is unsuccessful, you will receive the preservation cost as a refund.

Each gown we receive is sent to the Wedding Gown Preservation Company. When your gown is received for processing, it is carefully examined for spots. A detailed report is kept throughout the entire process. We remove spots and treat the gown for sugar stains. Extra special attention is given to the neckline, trim, and hemlines.

Experts then shape the gown, position a full bust form, and fill the sleeves. It is wrapped in tissue and fitted into a preservation chest with window.

Flower girl dresses and christening gowns can also be preserved. It takes two to six weeks after receiving the gown for completion.

Every preserved gown comes with a twenty year certificate of guarantee against yellowing or caramelized stains.
